On 31-st of May 2008 manroland AG, the patron of the Balkan Print Forum, invited to its drupa stand members of the Balkan Print Federations to participate in the Balkan Print Forum drupa event. 120 representatives from printing companies in Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey accepted manroland’s invitation. The meeting focused on trends and perspectives in the printing and media industry. Other important objectives of the Balkan Print Forum drupa event were: establishing new contacts, knowledge communication, exchanging experience. The presentation of the ROLAND 700 HiPrint machine especially for the Balkan visitors and the information given about manroland at drupa 2008 were accepted with big interest from all the participants. Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Gerd Finkbeiner, Chairman of the Board manroland AG, emphasised that his company is prepared to fully support the printing industry in the region in improving quality, profitability, competitiveness, and the development of young talents.
